North Monroe Business District is part of the vibrant Emerson-Garfield Neighborhood, home to diverse neighbors and amazing community businesses and nonprofits that are coming together for this collaborative event, hosted by Spokane Zero Waste and Rogue Heart Media with the Afghan Grocery Store on North Monroe!

  • Explore sewn crafts from talented Afghan artisans; graduates of Spokane Zero Waste's Re: Craft Lab

  • Party across the block with food and info tables!

  • Learn about Zero Waste programs we're growing in Spokane!

  • Help brush up the building with a NEW MURAL led by neighborhood artist Mallory Battista!

  • Explore Monroe with new pedestrian crossing flags to enhance safety at busy intersections, made by current Re: Craft Lab students!
